If you cycle for exercise, you must know that Cody Rigsby is a Peloton legend. The cycling instructor talked to us about his hottest takes when it comes to music, his icons Beyoncé and Katy Perry and about the ever-so-hot Barbie movie.

Even in his own fashion statements, he looks back with the utmost confident opinions.” I look back at some of my fashion choices and cringe,” Rigsby tells StyleCaster. “I like stuff that’s fun and colorful. Now, I incorporate more feminine aspects, but not to a point that it doesn’t feel authentic to me.”

Before Peloton, he did a range of “odd” jobs around the city, including “working at The Box down on the Lower East Side, where I was a pseudo-security guard,” he said of the burlesque and erotica theater. “My face was too pretty to be a real security guard, but they had me making sure that patrons at The Box, who might be intoxicated, didn’t take pictures of the topless dancers in the show.”  He danced for popping popular acts like Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, and Pitbull.

Those skills very much translated on screen. He recalled teaching his first classes with a great comparison. “Do you remember that Tom Cruise movie Minority Report?” he asked. “I always compare teaching a Peloton class to Minority Report—you’ve got so many screens open, you’re doing a million things at once, trying to juggle all these different elements.”

Now, Rigsby has become a household name. His Peloton classes have become coveted in the community. “People have a really strong and personal connection to me because the experience that we have on the bike really feels one-on-one,” he says. “We’re working towards fitness goals or mental health goals. To multiply that, just the chemical release of endorphins from a bike makes this really special connection between members at home and their favorite Peloton instructor. It’s always nothing but good energy.”
